Job PurposeThe Drive‑thru Manager is responsible for leading Holiday’s drive‑thru service operations to ensure exceptional customer experience, efficient workflow, and consistent profitability. This role oversees daily activities, manages a high‑performing team, and upholds quality, safety, and service standards in a fast‑paced environment. The Drive‑through Manager plays a key role in maximizing sales, maintaining a clean and welcoming drive‑through, and delivering operational excellence.

- Able to collaborate with diverse teams and customer personalities.
- Operate cash registers and scanners; process transactions quickly and accurately.
- Ensure proper handling and accuracy of all payment types, including cash and credit.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the drive-thru, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Implement strategies to minimize wait times, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase throughput.
- Ensure the drive-thru area is clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing.
- Train and coach staff in delivering excellent customer service and cross‑selling/upselling products.
- Recruit, hire, and train drive-thru staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about menu items, promotions, and drive‑thru procedures.
- Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage staff performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement appropriate training and development programs.
- Maintain high food quality and safety standards in the drive-thru area.
- Monitor food preparation processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established recipes and portion sizes.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to increase drive-thru sales.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure sufficient stock availability.
- Control costs by minimizing waste, managing labor expenses, and optimizing operational efficiencies.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with local health department regulations.
- Stay current with relevant industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Answer phones professionally and assist customers with inquiries.
- Promote store programs including My Holiday, Car Wash Subscriptions, and special promotional events.
- Support fellow employees with daily store activities and shared responsibilities.
- Ensure correct pricing, issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in the food industry preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to open and close the stores across Sunday through Saturday schedule.
- Proficient in using computer systems and POS software.
- Strong customer and employee‑focused mindset.
- Ability to maintain composure in the face of angry, frustrated, or flustered customers.
- Willingness to adjust priorities and support business needs as they arise.
- Must have a safe driving record.
- Must be willing to submit to MVR monitoring and possess a valid Utah Driver License.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
