Job Description: Sales Associate - Clothing/Footwear - Part Time AM/ DAY SHIFT

Location: West Jordan

Provide an outstanding customer service experience by greeting, assisting with locating merchandise or services, helping with buying decisions, and thanking all customers. Assure all customer needs are met by asking open-ended questions in regard to their activity, project, event, or need. Merchandise the sales floor to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping experience. • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
• Assist customers with fitting and sizing of clothing and footwear
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
• Meet and exceed sales goals and targets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders and incoming shipments.
• Ability to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and performing all functions as set forth.

Smith and Edwards is open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 8p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed Sunday.

From $11 per hour

Part-time position, closed Sundays, great employee discount, advancement opportunities.
