Reports to: Department Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Safety First, Safety Always and meet or exceed Quality expectations.
• Inspect equipment to be utilized prior to shift start.
• Receive deliveries and count freight for correct quantities.
• Safely operate forklift and/or telehandler to transport received materials to designated areas.
• Log all material received and report any discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory in designated areas, efficiently organized, for storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support plant operation needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and mobile equipment.

Experience:

• Experiencing operating a forklift and Telehandler.
• Minimum of one year of General Labor/Warehouse experience (Loading, Shipping, Receiving), preferred.
• Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, humidity, cold).
• Ability to record data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members to accomplish departmental goals and to improve operations.

Education and Certification

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
