The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of underground telecommunications infrastructure projects.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, permitting agencies, utility companies, and municipalities.
  • Oversee daily activities of in-house crews and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure quality control.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, internal teams, and field operations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks including environmental, regulatory, and operational challenges.
  • Enforce company and OSHA safety guidelines, and conduct toolbox talks and safety audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
What you’ll need
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience managing underground utility or telecom infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of underground construction methods (directional drilling, trenching, plowing, etc.).
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.
  • Familiarity with permitting and regulatory requirements for underground construction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
