Position: IT Support Specialist / Office Support

Requirements Must have:

  • Proficient troubleshooting abilities in hardware and software
  • Experience with Chromebooks or Chrome

    OS environments
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and Google Admin Console
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Capability to handle multiple support requests efficiently
  • Help Desk or Desktop Support experience (preferred)
  • Background in a K–12 or educational technology setting (preferred)
  • CompTIA A+ certification or progress toward it (preferred)
  • Ability to speak Spanish (preferred)
  • High school diploma required; technical training or certifications are a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Chromebooks and associated hardware
  • Diagnose and fix hardware, software, and account-related challenges
  • Assist with the provisioning, enrollment, and setup of devices
  • Troubleshoot printers, basic networking issues, and office equipment
  • Keep accurate records of support tickets and resolutions
  • Manage the inventory, tracking, and lifecycle of Chromebooks
  • Facilitate device shipping, returns, and replacements
  • Ensure adherence to school technology policies
  • Perform data entry and documentation tasks
  • Organize inventory
  • Support operational tasks as needed

At Mountain Heights Academy, we are Utahs premier tuition‑free online charter school servicing grades 7–12 throughout the state. We are currently looking for an IT Support Specialist to deliver hands‑on technical assistance for student and staff devices while supporting our internal technology operations. This position is perfect for individuals with experience in help desk, desktop support, or educational IT, who have a passion for troubleshooting and device management in a collaborative environment.
