* Primary Responsibilities:

*
* + Processes physician drug orders including, but not limited to:

+ order entry into dispensing computer system

+ appropriate product selection

+ labeling and repackaging

+ Consults with various health care professionals and provides information and guidance concerning drugs and their appropriate use

+ Complies with departmental and hospital policies and procedures

+ Assumes duties of Director of Pharmacy in his/her absence to manage daily departmental activities

+ Responds to cardiopulmonary resuscitation procedures, when requested

+ Participates in and/or provides support to hospital committees as agreed upon by committee members and the Director of Pharmacy to help establish drug-related policies, criteria, or to monitor issues related to drugs i.e. Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee

+ Assist in the preparation of periodic reports on the progress of the department for submission to the administration of the hospital

+ Assists the department and hospital in maintaining compliance with accreditation standards

* Required Qualifications:

* + ACPE - accredited Pharm

D degree (highly preferred) or BS of Pharmacy with recent pharmacist work experience

+ Active Utah state pharmacist license in good standing

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Some Hospital Pharmacy work experience

+ Post-graduate Hospital pharmacy residency

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.09 to $78.70 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
