Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, active licensure, and BLS certification for a 13-week inpatient acute care assignment.
Responsibilities- Position is in an inpatient acute care setting
- Day shift position, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday
- One weekend shift required per month
- Uses EPIC for EMR documentation
- 13-week assignment
- Duties include providing Occupational Therapy services to acute care inpatients
- 12 hours of orientation provided
- Returning candidates may not have been directly employed by any Common Spirit facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year
- Local radius requirements may apply depending on the state
- Travelers may be required to float within designated zones as per facility policy
- Active state or compact (NLC) OT license required if applicable
- Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) via NBCOT required
- Active BLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience
- Two professional references required, including one supervisor within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor within the last 3 years
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- EPIC charting experience preferred
