This is a Rotating shift position, Successful Candidate will be expected to work 4 days on 4 days off 12
Hr Rotation Shift
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our mission critical team. This role will focus on Preventative and Predictive maintenance practices to keep our power plant operating efficiently and to provide uninterruptible power to our Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in generator operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Execute service on the engines in compliance with the maintenance protocol. For example checking oil, replace filters and valves and diverse types of measurements.
- Carry out minor repairs on the engine additional to the planned service
- Execute major service on the engine in cooperation with colleagues in compliance with the protocol for major service
- Coordinate the task with external suppliers who provide specialist duties
- Monitor activities of the maintenance compliant to the EHS protocol
- Troubleshooting engines on the field of Electronics and mechanics
- Create a report on common faults and describe the background of this fault
- Work effectively as part of a team of technicians or independently
- Process timesheets, expense reports, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) forms, and job reports in a timely manner
- Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work site
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure alignment of generator systems with overall data center infrastructure.
- Assist in the development and execution of generator replacement and upgrade plans.
- 4 years of reciprocating engine experience preferred
- Strong understanding of generator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
