Academic, Special Education Teacher
A free charter school located in West Jordan, Utah, is now accepting applications for a full-time Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year.
Special Education Teachers are responsible for managing a caseload of students who receive special education services which includes:
- Keeping special education files up to date and in compliance with State and Federal laws.
- Manage and provide services to students on caseload.
- Oversee para educators that assist with providing services to students.
- Work together and communicate with faculty and staff members regarding special education students and services in addition to attending department and school wide meetings.
- Advocate for students who receive special education services.

Our curriculum is also designed to be compliant with the Utah State Core Curriculum.
Qualified applicants will have a valid Utah license in Special Education. Preference will be given to candidates with an endorsement in Math. Candidates who hold certifications or endorsements to teach multiple subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Interns or candidates needing to complete their student teaching may also be considered for the position.
