- Have completed 5 years of experience in education, AND
- Hold a current administrative license/endorsement by August 1st of the upcoming contract year.

You must provide 3 references that meet the following criteria:
- Current Administrative Supervisor
- 2nd Administrator with whom you have worked in the last 5 years
- A professional reference with whom you have worked in the last 5 years
The video portion of the application is required. Emails will be sent to references requesting they complete the Administrative Reference Form.
After Step 1, applicants will receive an email indicating whether they will move to Step
2. Candidates who do not proceed to Step 2 may reapply during the next school year.
Invitation to Interview
Admin Pool candidates may be invited to an interview in November, January, March, or April, depending on application completion. Interviews are mandatory, in‑person meetings with the Administrative Cabinet. They will be held on either Monday or Friday to accommodate travel plans for out‑of‑state applicants.
OPTIONAL STEP 3:Additional Screening
Additional screening may include a 20‑minute situational presentation. It can be conducted in person or virtually at the discretion of the Administrative Cabinet.
Offer and Placement of Successful CandidatesFollowing Step 2 or 3, a candidate may be accepted into the Administrative Pool. Accepted candidates will remain in the Pool for two years, then must reapply.

Benefit‑eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). The District contributes to the URS plan each month. After four years, you will have either the Hybrid option (pension + 401(k) plan) or the 401(k) option. Both plans are employer‑paid. You may also enhance your retirement by contributing additional money from your paychecks into a 401(k), 457, Traditional IRA, or Roth IRA.
