Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurses to support an inpatient unit in West Islip. This role is ideal for nurses who are comfortable managing medical-surgical patients while monitoring telemetry and responding to changes in patient condition.
Requirements- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience (required)
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and patient monitoring skills
- Ability to manage multiple patient assignments efficiently
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and escalate changes appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with unit protocols
- Support patient safety and quality care standards
