New Graduate Emergency Department Residency Program
This 1-year program is an exciting opportunity meant for May 2026 BSN graduates looking to launch their career in a fast-paced, stimulating emergency department. The program will include several modes of learning to prepare you to work in our Level I ACS Trauma Center for Adults and Level II Pediatrics Center.
The program includes: 52-week schedule with 12.5-hour shifts. The curriculum consists of classroom didactics, skill labs, simulation labs, a two-week online critical care course, and clinical hours with the Clinical Nursing Educators and preceptors. After the first 16 weeks, residents transition to a full-time clinical setting with their preceptors, including a rotation in the pediatric ED and a two-week critical care rotation with the Emergency Department critical care nurse.
RequirementsFor Prospective Candidates
- May 2026 Graduates from accredited BSN programs.
- Preferred overall GPA 3.3;
Nursing GPA 3.5. You will be asked to provide a copy of your college transcript. - Application submission MUST include a Resume
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association before the start date.
- Interview with ED Leadership, ED Staff and Talent Acquisition
- Start Date:
September 14, 2026; contingent on passing NCLEX. - Accredited with Distinction as a Practice Transition Program By the American Nurses Credentialing Center
USD $54.48 - USD $54.48 /Hr. This serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
