The Unit Clerk, under the direction of the NM/ANM, coordinates and performs duties necessary to manage and organize the nursing unit, including reception and secretarial duties and ensuring accurate communication among the health‑care team.
- Maintain regulatory standards involving the medical record.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the NM/ANM.
- Complete required competencies for duties in the specific clinical (patient‑care) setting.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong computer skills; ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Typing minimum of 30 words per minute or 5,000 keystrokes per hour.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
USD $21.81 – $32.72 per hour. This range is a good‑faith estimate and actual pay will encompass factors such as candidates’ qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. The listed pay does not include bonuses, differential pay or other compensation, and does not include the value of benefits.
