Summary

The Shift Supervisor supports the Store Leadership Team in the absence of a manager on the sales floor. Primary duties include supervising store staff, ensuring the highest level of customer engagement, and driving sales. The Shift Supervisor represents the brand, operates professionally, engages customers, maintains store standards, and supports teamwork.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift large and heavy packages and boxes rapidly and constantly, including continuous loading and unloading of large boxes throughout a shift.
  • Able to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product for customer service, inventory restocking, processing shipments, and store merchandising.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. without restrictions.
  • Able to perform regular store maintenance tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning.
  • Ability to use and climb ladders and/or step stools.
  • Requires repetitive motions (e.g., hanging, folding, ringing up customers).
  • Must exercise caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless or transient individuals, and avoid confrontations.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Adult content environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist store management in generating sales potential by maintaining a constant presence on the sales floor and setting pace and energy while ensuring brand integrity.
  • Hold store keys to open and close without management presence as necessary.
  • Ensure customer service is the number one priority and partner with sales associates to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
  • Manage rest and meal break schedules and ensure all zones are covered.
  • Provide relevant and timely feedback, coaching, and redirection in customer engagement, selling, and sales floor etiquette.
  • Assist in managing company standards of merchandise presentation, signage, and displays.
  • Escalate performance concerns to the store manager.
  • Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment for customers.
  • Assist with store security, including checking bags and monitoring fitting rooms.
  • Ensure that store staff are treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully.
  • Process return/exchange transactions, authorize promotional discounts and employee sales in the absence of a manager.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with all LP policies.
  • Have full understanding and knowledge of inventory management procedures.
  • Represent the company professionally and positively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of key holder experience in a retail setting preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
  • Must commit to two store closings per week, including one being Friday or Saturday.
  • Ability to utilize retail POS system and inventory scanner.
  • Must be able to make change using American monetary units.
  • Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Completion of the Shift Supervisor three‑month training program.
