Overview
We are looking for a part-time Showroom Assistant to work in our Los Angeles flagship store. The ideal candidate is a team-player who is friendly and enthusiastic about interior design and home furnishings. The work environment is fast-paced with ongoing responsibilities and some last-minute assignments. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task and think on their feet.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Support design and sales team during showroom appointments by greeting clients, serving refreshments, printing tear sheets, pulling fabrics, and tidying up
- Maintain showroom for a clean and professional appearance, including frequent fluffing of upholstery collections, and assist in showroom merchandising and styling
- Assist in pulling fabrics from our library and send swatches to clients using USPS, UPS and Fed Ex, sometimes requiring trips to the post office
- Assist in managing the inventory of our fabric & finishes library, keeping samples stocked, organized and up to date
- Work with in-house CRM system to log client information and track all outgoing fabric and finish samples
- Organize the break and supply rooms, managing inventory to keep office, kitchen and bathroom supplies stocked
- General administrative duties and office management in support of the company’s sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Opening and closing duties
- Receiving deliveries to the showroom
- Run errands as needed
This role may transition into full time for the right candidate with additional responsibilities to be discussed.
Job RequirementsThis is not a remote position. Candidate must be able to work in the Los Angeles Showroom during business hours, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Some physical requirements in order to properly fluff and maintain showroom furniture and merchandising.
Must have a reliable car with a valid driver’s license and a cell phone.
Comfortable signing and adhering to company's NDAs.
Proficiency in Google Drive Applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
