Responsibilities
The Store Manager will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and is responsible for managing and growing the John Elliott Retail Store business at the assigned location.
Areas of focus include:
- Sales Team Management – 40%
- Strategic Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting – 20%
- Corporate Cross‑Functional Team Collaboration – 20%
- Sales Generation – 20%
Additional responsibilities include:
- Drive sales and performance of the store and individual sales associates
- Partner with senior management to achieve and maximize sales and margin targets
- Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained according to directives
- Communicate regularly with division heads on product needs and market trends to maximize productivity
- Develop and lead a high‑performance team that drives sales and achieves store results
- Demonstrate leadership in managing the store and its employees
- Create a dynamic environment with excellent customer service standards and ensure staff are inviting, professional, and knowledgeable on product and related company information
- Maintain an active social relationship with the community and understand the needs of the market
- Ensure store adheres with company policies and procedures
- Ensure shrinkage results are met by enforcing security measures and maintaining accuracy of inventory
- Demonstrate proficiency in managing operational costs and balancing all related expenses
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in fashion retail store management
- Accomplished leader with strong team‑building skills
- Advanced knowledge of retail sales techniques and customer/clientele and community building
- Excellent attention to detail with strong time management and organization skills
- Responsible fiscally and able to manage a store budget and P&L
Compensation
Salary Range: $45.00-$48.00 hourly
At John Elliott/Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset and we offer competitive compensation. The base hourly range is part of a total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, bonuses, and other benefits.
