Overview
Formosa Cafe is looking to hire a reliable Prep Cook available to start immediately! Early AM shifts.
Minimum Requirements- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- 1-2 years cooking experience in similar role
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand 8 hours
- Perform routine food preparation based on prep list provided by management
- Label, stock, and portion ingredients, sauces, seasonings, etc.
- Ensure that food and other items are stored properly
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared efficiently
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
