In this role, you will skillfully take and prepare food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency to create seamless experiences for guests year-round. Responsibilities include operating cash registers effectively, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and ensuring inventory accuracy to support smooth operations.
Ability to understand and follow directions in a high-volume guest-oriented environment. With a focus on delivering outstanding guest service, you’ll positively engage with guests and team members of all ages, contributing to an environment of excellence and excitement.
- Verify cash balance at the beginning and end of shift. Operate cash register; accepts cash and credit cards;
Advise lead cashier on need for cash mid-days and complete change requests, per established procedures. - Set up the venue, stock, clean, organize and maintain a clean sanitized food service area.
- Process guests’ food and beverage orders and up sell products. Follow all food proper portioning procedures to maintain cost.
- Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner.
- Understands and demonstrates the proper use of safety practices and ensures department standards are maintained and safety policies for the Park upheld.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, integrity, and adherence to established cash-handling procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, resolving complaints, and addressing concerns related to cash transactions while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a compliant, efficient, and secure cash-handling process in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
- Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
- Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Prior Barista experience preferred
- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, with assistance
- The noise level is generally moderate to high
- Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Depending on the assigned location, work can be almost exclusively outdoors
- Must be available to work at least 4 days per week throughout the peak seasons to include a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- $20 per hour
