Join our team as a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain internal systems and data solutions that support our firm’s legal, operational, and reporting needs. This individual will play a key role in building scalable applications, managing data infrastructure, and delivering analytics that drive informed decision-making across the organization. This role is integral to improving efficiency, data integrity, and technological innovation within the firm.

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications that support case management, reporting, and operational workflows
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, databases, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Build and maintain data analytics solutions to support KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting
• Integrate internal systems and third-party platforms to streamline data flow and automation
• Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices in handling sensitive legal and client information
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve performance and reliability
• Document system architecture, processes, and technical standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend technology enhancements as the firm grows

Onsite 5 days a week in West Hollywood, no remote option

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, performance tuning, and database design
• Solid experience with Java and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with data analytics, reporting tools, and data visualization concepts
• Familiarity with Domo or similar BI platforms preferred but not required
• Experience working in a mid-sized organization or complex business environment preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

$35 - $45 per hour
