CBC is a 22,000 square foot, state‑of‑the‑art biomanufacturing facility located in West Hollywood, California. It houses a cGMP cell manufacturing facility with cleanroom cell production suites and process development rooms for producing next‑generation cell and gene therapies for IND‑enabling clinical trials. The center combines stem cell biology, bioprocessing, translational medicine, and manufacturing expertise to bring FDA‑compliant cell therapy solutions to researchers and translation scientists.

• Participate in wet and dry laboratory projects, ensuring compliance with all Federal and State accrediting agency requirements and/or GLP.
• Execute assigned wet‑lab work, maintain laboratory equipment, and record controlled documents.
• Follow SOPs strictly and assist the quality control team with required testing activities.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate functioning.
• Verify samples, log them into systems, and transport to appropriate storage environments following SOPs.
• Maintain lab inventory, place orders for equipment and supplies, and support specialized equipment operations.
• Ensure all activities align with regulatory guidelines and safety standards; communicate effectively with core laboratory customers.

• Perform process development tasks for multiple clients following specific SOPs.
• Write and maintain documentation in laboratory notebooks, data records/transfers, SOPs, and batch records.
• Draft SOPs and maintain the computer database.
• Verify samples received and log them into systems, ensuring proper storage.
• Perform lab maintenance duties, including glassware cleaning and sterilization.
• Maintain lab equipment and their related records.
• Prepare material inventories and place orders for equipment and supplies.
• Assist in operating specialized equipment and machinery.
• Ensure all activities align with regulatory guidelines and safety standards; interact with core laboratory customers with integrity and respect.

• Associate Degree in biology, biochemistry, or related science or engineering specialization (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a laboratory or biotech environment.
• Minimum one (1) year working with biomedical equipment, including maintenance and/or testing.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organization skills; ability to work across company fields and functional units; proficiency with computer applications.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including Federal, FDA, State, and accrediting bodies’ standards.
• Familiarity with routine laboratory procedures, experimental protocols, and overall lab organization.
• Knowledge of specialized equipment.
• Computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls to troubleshoot malfunctions and resolve problems quickly and accurately.
