$52.40/hr - $53.90/hr

We are seeking dedicated and experienced healthcare professionals to join our team. The role requires adaptability and expertise in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.

• Duration: 13-15 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Availability: 36 or 48-hour work weeks
• Flu Vaccination:
  Mandatory when flu season begins
• Start Date:
  
  No requested time off within the first two weeks of the assignment
• Holiday Requirement:
  Must be able to work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years in a PCU setting
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 3 years of experience
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred
  
  Certifications:
  
  National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

• Required Skills:
  
  IV starts, telemetry
• Preferred
  
  Skills:
  
  PA lines
• Experience with fresh post-op kidney transplants and complex cases
• Ability to handle moderate to high-risk dysrhythmias and use invasive hemodynamic devices
• Experience with TR Bands, chest tubes, and various gtts (Milrinone, Dopamine, Dobutamine)
• Familiarity with pulmonary hypertension therapy
• Capability to perform ongoing interventions and assessments every 2 hours, not exceeding 8 occurrences

• Swan Ganz catheters
• Transvenous pacing

An EKG exam will be administered on the first day of orientation, and passing is required to proceed with the contract.
