Job Summary

The deFIANT is a boutique communications agency with exciting clients in the lifestyle, consumer products, fashion, and beauty industries. Our team is seeking a detail-oriented, multi-tasking, fast-paced individual for an in-office, book keeping position. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage all aspects of our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing the full accounting cycle, and preparing financial reports to support business decision-making.

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping process
  , including A/R, A/P, and general ledger
• Process and reconcile
  bank and credit card statements
• Manage
  payroll processing
  and related filings
• Prepare
  monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Track expenses, income, and cash flow
• Prepare information for
  CPA, tax filings, and audits
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Communicate with management regarding financial performance

• Proven experience as a
  Full Charge Bookkeeper
  or similar role
• Strong knowledge of
  accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g.,
  Quick Books
  )
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience working with
    CPAs and tax professionals
  • Experience in [industry, if applicable]
  • Payroll and sales tax experience
