Accounting Manager

A confidential, growth‑oriented retail company based in West Los Angeles is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its finance organization. This is a hands‑on role with clear visibility to leadership and a defined path for advancement as the business continues to scale.

This position is ideal for someone with a public accounting foundation who is ready to step into a leadership role within industry, or an experienced industry accountant with strong technical fundamentals.

Onsite | $120K–$140K Base + Bonus

• Own core accounting functions including monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses
• Support audits, tax filings, and external advisors
• Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements as the company scales
• Mentor junior accounting staff and support team development over time

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience and/or CPA strongly preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month‑end close processes
• Retail, consumer, or inventory‑based business experience is a plus but not required
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable in an onsite environment
• Clear communicator with interest in long‑term growth and leadership
