Accounting Manager - Entertainent

Overview

Our international talent agency client is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting and day-to-day financial activities for their U.S. office. This role will build the accounting function processes almost from scratch and report to the Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity to join a newly launching U.S. division of a premier talent agency that goes above and beyond to serve its clients.

• Day to day paying of invoices, reviewing payroll
• Month-end bank reconciliation and close
• Establish accounting processes and procedures
• Liaising with clients, advisors, and external constituents
• Generating reports for the international parent company

• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an agency setting, but will consider candidates straight out of public accounting
• B.A. in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Diligent, accurate, takes the time to produce quality work product
• Works well independently and on a team
