Birdie s is a modern, whimsical toy & more store in the heart of Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. We are located at the "Red Barn", a historic space that was once the town s first fire station! We specialize in heirloom-quality, unique, and artful gifts for children and the kid-at-heart.
Role DescriptionWe are seeking a part-time hourly Sales Stock Associate to join our team at our shop in Wethersfield, CT. This on-site role involves managing inventory, processing and stocking merchandise, organizing product displays, updating the website, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. The Sales Stock Associate will work closely with the team to ensure smooth store operations and an excellent shopping experience for customers.
Qualifications- Excellent language and writing skills
- A passion for organization with strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Prior retail or stockroom experience is a plus
- Prior website maintenance experience is a plus
- Willing to train; but must be a quick learner
