VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT is expanding their surgical team. We are seeking a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician to join the specialty surgical team at our 24-7 hybrid and specialty referral hospital in West Hartford, CT.

• Anesthesia monitoring/case workup
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Collecting patient histories & physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Potential

Schedule:

Full-time, weekday shifts. Monday through Friday. 4/5 shifts Incentivized voluntary on-call shifts.

Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.

This role is suited for a Certified Technician with 3 years of anesthesia experience; leadership experience is preferred. Candidates should be positive, able to assist with case flow, support the surgical team with challenging cases, and provide training and support as appropriate. The hospital team meets frequently, and ideas and suggestions are encouraged to help us grow.
