Insurance Client Service Associate

The purpose of this position is to support advisors, clients, and colleagues by delivering accurate and timely post-issue servicing for existing insurance policies. Maintain and update client and policy data and ensure high-quality service for life, disability, and long-term care products.

• Provide prompt, accurate policy support for our insurance team, assisting with post-issue policy inquiries from clients, their advisors and co-workers.
• Communicate directly with multiple insurance carriers to obtain accurate, timely information.
• Develop expertise in carrier administrative procedures and foster positive relationships with the carriers.
• Process policy changes (e.g., coverage modifications, beneficiary/ownership changes, assignments, surrenders, loans, lapses, address changes) and record updates in our database.
• Update and maintain our client database, Smart Office.
• Train coworkers as needed.
• Maintain and share weekly activity reports with supervisors and advisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Software: MS365 Suite, Smart Office (database), carrier illustration systems, as needed

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a focus on client service.
• Knowledge of estate and insurance tax laws relevant to policy administration.
• Proficiency in data entry and various software applications.
