ResponsibilitiesWe have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer Intern to join our West Hartford, CT team. The internship will provide a college‑level student with practical experience related to their major that will enhance and complement classroom learning. In addition, at the West Hartford facility, the student will gain exposure to all the aspects of the full product life cycle of highly engineered aerospace components.
- Gain knowledge on schematic Entry Tools from Mentor Graphics
- Generate & provide guidance to the PCB designer
- Understand the BOM generation and procurement processes
- Create test procedures and set up
- Support initial testing of designs
- Update schematics for various parts/programs
- Assist with NPRs & Parts Research
- Assist with Prototype schematics, Qual schematics & BOM
- Support/conduct preliminary analyses
- Support PCB Layout (Internal/Outsource)
- Support early procurement activities
- Assist with setting up test equipment
Create documentation & procedures - Perform testing; conduct review; generate reports
- Pursuing a Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels in the organization
- Candidates must be a US citizen or a US Permanent Resident
