Comp Paralegal Assistant

Overview

Hupy and Abraham S.C., P.C., a personal injury law firm headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, is looking for a motivated Workers Compensation Paralegal Assistant for our West Des Moines office.

• Managing calendars, scheduling meetings & handling correspondence
• Drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents
• Sending letters of representation to involved parties & insurance carriers
• Conducting legal research and preparing materials for review, including those related to medical treatment & billing
• Provide status updates to insurance companies and subrogation providers
• Request clients’ medical records & bills
• Maintain and update client management database (Filevine)

• Qualified candidates should have strong administrative experience. Experience in a law firm preferred.
• Demonstrated superior customer service skills
• Innovative problem resolution
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced/dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer experience should include basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
