Job Overview
Appian Developer – UST seeks a developer to design, develop, and implement end‑to‑end Appian applications. The role is located in Iowa and offers a compensation range of $75,000–$113,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement scalable applications using the Appian BPM platform.
- Work across the entire Appian stack, including process models, interfaces, data management, integrations, and security.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Appian solutions.
- Optimize existing Appian applications for performance and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Follow Appian and software development best practices to maintain high code quality.
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Strong hands‑on experience developing applications on the Appian platform (minimum 1–2 years) and RPA experience of 3–5 years.
- Proven expertise in Appian objects, SAIL interfaces, Process Models, Record Types, CDTs, and Appian Plug‑ins.
- Experience integrating Appian with external systems via Web APIs, REST, or SOAP services.
- Solid understanding of Appian architecture, configurations, and deployment processes.
- Ability to independently design and deliver complex Appian‑based solutions.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Appian certification (Appian Certified Associate / Senior Developer) is preferred.
- Nice to have:
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies;
Knowledge of Java, SQL, or other integration technologies.
- Compensation Range: $75,000-$113,000.
