Job Title: Evening Social Host
Location: Staybridge Suites, West Des Moines
Position Type: Part-Time
Hours: Monday - Wednesday, 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Job Summary:
Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is seeking a friendly and outgoing Evening Social Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our guests during our evening socials held every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities- Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and set up light appetizers and beverages (beer and wine) for the evening social.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Relationship Building: Develop relationships with individual guests and local businesses to foster a sense of community and repeat business.
- Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of hospitality and service.
- Clean-Up: Ensure the social area is clean and tidy before and after the event, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
