OverviewOur Workers' Compensation team is growing a Workers' Compensation Coordinator you act as a liaison for employers, work comp carriers, case managers and internal clinical teams. You will be responsible for coordinating, systemizing, and processing workers' compensation activities to ensure seamless service delivery for the DMOS Work Comp population. This position plays a key role in developing and managing Work Comp department processes while ensuring strong communication and collaboration across internal departments and external partners.
This full-time (40-hr) position is located at our West Des Moines office.
- Act as a liaison for workers' compensation carriers, case managers and internal clinical teams for a workers' compensation patient s orthopaedic journey.
- Coordinate, systemize, and process workers compensation activities to ensure seamless service delivery for the DMOS Work Comp population.
- Develop and manage Work Comp department processes while ensuring strong communication and collaboration across internal departments and external partners.
- Support a specialized environment focused on delivering an outstanding experience for patients and external customers.
- Prior experience in a healthcare administration role, workers' compensation, or occupational medicine role (preferred).
- Strong organizational and process-driven skills.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in a professional manner with individuals with varying backgrounds.
- Practice listening, asking clarifying questions, and avoiding interruptions.
