Overview

The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, the state's largest general farm organization, is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Law Clerk in their Government Relations Division.

As our Law Clerk, you will focus on public policy issues affecting farmers in all three branches of government, utilizing administrative, agricultural and environmental law. The position offers an opportunity to interact with governmental agencies, trade associations and Farm Bureau members.

• The position is open to 1L and 2L students.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills are required.
• The candidate's familiarity with agriculture or public policy experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work full-time in person from our office in West Des Moines, IA May through August 2026.
