Institutional Consulting Analysts provide exceptional service to our clients and support Institutional Consulting Directors (ICD) and their teams. The Institutional Consulting Analyst is an integral member of the Graystone Team. This role focuses on assisting in areas such as digital marketing, portfolio holdings and/or proposal tools, financial planning, reporting and analysis. The Institutional Consulting Analyst is also responsible for matters of technical policy and standards, presentation materials, and performance measurement for technically advanced accounts.

• Client Service: Provide coverage for a Graystone team including assisting the ICD/team in delivering against their client service model, preparing for regular meetings and tracking follow-ups.
• Provide backup coverage for traditional registered or unregistered Client Service Associate responsibilities on request, such as executing money movements, answering general non-investment questions, educating/enrolling clients in digital tools (e.g., MS Online), and clerical entry of orders.
• Remain current on all policies, procedures and new platforms.
• Contribute to client/account presentations with updates and information on investment managers in partnership with the ICD/team.

• Business Development Support: Execute administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies (conferences, seminars/webinars, websites, social media, email connectivity).
• Prepare and review institutional client reports or financial plans from firm-approved systems for existing or prospective clients at the request of the client and/or ICD/team.
• Assist with research using firm-approved systems and participate in client meetings, representing the service perspective when requested by the ICD/team.
• Participate in firm initiatives, special projects and other duties directed by local management.

• 5+ years of experience in a field relevant to the position required
• Four-year college degree or professional certification preferred
• Active Series 7 (GS), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required
• Additional product licenses may be required
• Willingness to obtain the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation

• Knowledge of financial services products and services, including measuring performance of institutional portfolios
• Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel) and internet applications
• Excellent writing, interpersonal and client service skills
• Strong time management, teamwork and ability to collaborate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; adaptable and able to multi-task
• Goal oriented, self-motivated and results driven
