We re hiring a Project Estimator (Renewable Energy) to support solar and renewable energy projects from preconstruction through contract award. This role focuses on accurate cost estimating, scope review, and collaboration with project teams to support profitable project execution.
What You ll Do- Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for renewable energy and solar construction projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and pricing reviews
- Review plans, specifications, and subcontractor/vendor quotes
- Support preconstruction planning and bid strategy development
- Coordinate with project managers and internal teams during bid and turnover phases
- Experience in construction estimating, preferably within renewable energy or electrical construction
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cost-estimating skills
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and Excel-based cost tools
- Clear communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
