Sr Structural Engineer (Data Centers)

Base Pay Range: $ - $ per year.

As a Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll work on a variety of Data Center projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You’ll perform structural engineering assignments, coordinate designs with internal and external stakeholders, and support global project delivery.

• Performing structural analysis and model creation.
• Calculating member designs and foundations, preparing material take-offs for estimating.
• Generating miscellaneous calculations and assisting with scheduling.
• Collaborating with diverse engineering and design teams on capital projects.
• Coordinating designs with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (able to become registered in additional states).
• Knowledge of CAD software (Auto Cad, Revit, Micro Station, S3D).
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD).
• Familiarity with ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, and other industry design codes.
• Knowledge of Building Codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Teams.
• Ability to travel 10%–20% of the time.

• Master of Science in Engineering.
• Experience with industrial metals projects (casting, rolling operations).
• Ability to lead teams and deliver projects on schedule and budget.
