Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team. Foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure top performance.

    Experience:

    Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of service.
  • Sales & Performance:
    Drive store sales and profitability through merchandise management, promotions, and achieving sales targets.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Financial Management:
    Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement:
    Implement local marketing initiatives and build relationships with the community.
  • Innovation & Problem-Solving:
    Stay current with industry trends and implement improvements to store operations.
  • Additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Customer-Centric:
    Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Analytical

    Skills:

    Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Flexibility:
    Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Tech-Savvy:
    Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Minimum Requirements
  • Assistant Store Manager:
    Open availability including mornings, days, and nights; minimum 5-day work week; average 44 hours with peak-period increases.
  • Supervisor:
    Availability to open/close the store, including mornings and nights; minimum 5 days; minimum 30 hour work week.
  • All Management:
    Availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation; clear English communication; ability to read/write English and perform business math; potential relocation within company network.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged standing (5–14 hours per day); longer hours during peak periods.
  • Stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting 5–25 lbs regularly (weights may be higher).
  • Occasional ladder use; ability to climb stairs; good vision including color differentiation.
  • Moderately noisy retail environment.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of retail leadership preferred; or equivalent experience.

Compensation
  • Assistant Manager pay range: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour with bonus opportunities based on store KPIs.
  • Supervisor pay range: $18.31 per hour.
  • All roles eligible for the company 401K; full-time roles eligible for medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company-paid time off.
