Job Summary
The Director of Operations, reporting to the Chief Nurse and Clinical Executive, serves as a strategic and operational bridge across departments to drive organizational alignment, throughput, efficiency, and quality outcomes. This role leads data-driven performance improvement by extracting, aggregating, and analyzing data from multiple sources to support operational reporting, cost and utilization analyses, and strategic decision-making. The Director oversees throughput operations to ensure seamless transitions and improve patient flow.
Collaborating with key leaders, the Director delivers actionable insights, innovative reporting tools, and best practices that enhance productivity, affordability, and the overall quality of care across the hospital.
- Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum Experience Requirement:
Minimum three (3) years of acute care hospital experience required. Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: accreditation, case management, regulatory compliance, and patient safety. Knowledge of information systems, database management, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. Knowledge of statistical analysis and principles. Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Minimum License Requirement: BLS required within 6 months of hire. Annual 1 hour of Stroke Education required. California RN License preferred.

Pay Range:
$62.25 - $91.50
