Job SummaryConducts clinical speech and language pathology services including patient evaluation, interpretation of evaluation results, and intervention related to various diagnoses for pediatric, child, adult, and geriatric patients. The therapist will accurately assess and treat language/speech and swallowing impairments resulting from neurological insult/disease, developmental disabilities and delays, impaired oral motor abilities or laryngeal functions, dehydration/malnutrition, or changes in anatomy secondary to trauma or surgery.
Communicates with physicians and other referral sources, and provides clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel. Works with various healthcare team members. The Therapist will administer contrast media, under the direct supervision of the attending radiologist, during videofluoroscopy to observe, collect data, and measure swallowing parameters. Individual Therapists are assigned to specific age populations as per training.
Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Videofluoroscopy, Blue Dye Swallow Evaluation. Excellent customer service skills required.

Pay Range: $54.00 per hour
