About the role

We are seeking a fabulous receptionist for our lovely village, 7 St Vincent's, located in Remuera, Central Auckland on a 12-month Fixed Term contract.

This contract is starting from 27 th February 2026 to 28 th February 2027 working Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm = 32hrs week.

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will provide quality and timely reception and administration support which enables effective service delivery for our residents, staff, and visitors and also act as ‘First Responder’ in the case of an emergency, so holding a current First Aid Certificate is essential.

We are seeking a ‘superstar’ who brings enthusiasm and passion for customer service and can remain ‘calm under pressure’ and to be the first point of contact for residents, staff, contractors and visitors.

This role is pivotal to ensure a ‘welcoming’ atmosphere at our village reflects the service standards we excel at.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Professionally welcomes visitors and answers all calls and queries in a warm and friendly manner.
  • First responder for any emergency requirements
  • Ensures the Reception area is kept neat and tidy.
  • General administrative task & support to the team in general.
About You

You will have had previous experience in a similar role and understand how first impressions certainly count. You are a team player with a positive and welcoming attitude, and you always go 'above and beyond' in all you do. You have excellent 'all round' admin and computer skills, a can-do attitude and are happy to put your hand up to help when needed.

Professional but friendly, you will become the source of knowledge for all things at the village.
