NHC Health Care Garden City is seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as our Admissions Nurse. This is an exciting full‑time opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the very first moment a patient enters our care.

• As the Admissions Nurse, you will be the first point of contact for new patients entering our facility. Your primary responsibilities include:
• Completing pre‑admission screenings and providing a thorough medical assessment
• Collecting and documenting each patient’s medical history
• Ensuring all required forms, insurance information, and paperwork are complete and accurate
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to support a smooth and efficient admission process
• Performing other duties as assigned

• Current RN or LPN license
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Compassionate, patient‑focused approach
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
