.
Reporting to the Materials Planning Manager
, the Planner Scheduler will be in charge of helping materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
- Check the possibility of order fulfillment based on available resources (materials, employees, equipment, etc.) and confirm the order.
- Prepare production plans, input planning data into the company’s integrated computer system, and notify the purchasing group.
- Monitor and control plan implementation; start necessary actions in case of deviations.
- Prepare long-term plans and forecasts (MPS, Forecast).
- Monitor system accuracy daily/weekly (item data, routing, BOM, CFT data, non-consumed demand, planned WOs).
- Prepare Clean to Build reports, check material availability, replan if necessary, inform the order desk, and trace ECO implementation.
- Monitor stock levels and handle stock differences.
- Prepare management and CFT-specific reports and monitor KPIs.
- Provide assistance or replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order Desk within the CFT.
- Advise non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
- Monitor and address issues impacting performance to the committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals.
- Coordinate and manage high-visibility and/or important customer programs; may include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
- Coordinate with the Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
- Drive process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
- Provide input to management and reschedule interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, or other schedule interruptions.
- Represent Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams.
- May also support inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, including hands-on production scheduling.
- Strong capability in production planning and forecasting, ensuring accurate demand alignment.
- Working knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials) and its application in manufacturing environments.
- Solid understanding of inventory control and supply chain management, with proficiency in MRP or ERP systems.
