Description
Join Our Team as a Director of Facility Services. Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking an experienced Director of Facility Services to oversee all aspects of our community’s physical environment, ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming, and well-maintained campus for residents, staff, and guests. This leadership role is responsible for facility operations, maintenance, safety compliance, security, emergency preparedness, and contractor management.

- Schedule, direct, supervise and train all department personnel.
- Oversee building systems and preventive maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
- Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and strong emergency preparedness.
- Manage contractors, service providers, and renovation or refurbishment projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, warranty files, inspections, and CMMS data.
- Monitor security systems, fire alarms, and overall safety procedures.
- Develop and manage the facility services operating budget.
- Maintain inventory and oversee purchasing of supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate facility needs across departments, including IT, Sales & Marketing, and Environmental Services.
- Support resident move-ins and facility-related requests.
- Participate in safety committees, audits, and required training programs.
- Oversee work order systems and preventive maintenance programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related fields and 3 years of supervisory experience OR High School Diploma plus 10 years of supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license issued by the State of South Carolina
- Demonstrate computer skills (CMMS, database, excel)
