Position overview:
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to PreK-12 students, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP for the 25/26 school year
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
- Grade Levels: PK-12th grade caseloads available
- Campuses: May cover 2 campuses
- Certifications: ASHA CCCs required; CFY candidates not accepted
- Licenses: Must hold SC SLP license and educator certificate
- Compensation: Starting at $43/hour (commensurate with experience)
- Location: 100% On-Site

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings
- Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions to promote speech and language development
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes
- Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Current ASHA certification required
- Experience providing SLP services in a school or pediatric setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric SLP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with students, parents, and school staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of AAC systems and other assistive technology (preferred)
