Three Rivers Midlands is a comprehensive behavioral health facility treating children and adolescents through residential and rehabilitative behavioral health services (RBH). We treat males and females ages 11‑18 for a wide spectrum of psychiatric issues, addictive behaviors, and chemical dependency related illnesses.

Schedule is 3rd shift 11:00 pm – 7:30 am.

• Serve as a role model for residents and residential counselors.
• Ensure environment remains safe and maintain a positive, normative culture throughout the facility.
• Serve as a program liaison by planning and organizing events with the charge nurse.
• Contribute to formulation, implementation, and revision of residents’ individual treatment plans (ITP).
• Promote development of residents’ daily living skills through appropriate assignment, instruction, and supervision of tasks.
• Provide appropriate crisis intervention by anticipating and responding quickly to escalating behaviors, utilizing de‑escalation techniques to diffuse situations, correctly prioritizing safety concerns, following restraint technique guidelines, and displaying neutral emotions.
• Ensure optimal communication by relaying pertinent resident care information for change‑of‑shift reports, team logs, communication books, and complex staff meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field with at least one year of experience preferred.
• Direct experience working with adolescents and children in a residential, educational, or juvenile setting.
• At least one year of demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and effective communication with diverse groups and individuals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of therapeutic relationships as they relate to child/adolescent therapeutic processes, growth and development, limit setting, and behavior management.
• Knowledge of CPI & CPR.
• Valid SCDL in good standing to be an eligible driver. Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
