Accounts Receivable Specialist

Recruiting Solutions is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Columbia, SC. This temp-to-hire AR role is perfect for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy providing excellent customer service. You’ll gain hands-on experience in collections, SCEIS invoicing, and other AR processes, with the potential to transition to a full-time position.

• Print, email, and mail invoices through SCEIS
• Manage AR email inbox and respond to customer requests promptly
• Print monthly statements and compile bi-monthly aging reports
• Handle collections (primary responsibility) and follow up with customers
• Attach and verify documents in SCEIS (training provided)
• Enter customer numbers in SCEIS (training provided)
• Use customer portals to view and manage online invoicing
• File, scan, and support general office duties
• Cross-train in multiple AR duties to support team efficiency
• Back-up for organizing and distributing mail
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Professional customer service skills via phone, email, and in-person
• Ability to write clear and concise emails
• Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Team player who follows guidelines and asks questions when needed
