Purchasing​/Buying Specialist

$68,000 – $73,000/Annually (Plus full health benefits, PTO, 401k match)

We are a well-established, mid-sized manufacturing company with over 30 years of industry experience. Operating across two production facilities totaling 250,000+ sq. ft., we specialize in high-volume precision manufacturing for domestic and international markets. With a workforce of more than 350 employees and continued year-over-year growth, we are expanding our Supply Chain team to support increasing production demand.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Purchasing / Buyer professional to manage procurement activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Source and procure raw materials, components, and indirect supplies
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support production demands
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery metrics
• Issue purchase orders and track order status
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

• Minimum 3 years of buying/purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment (REQUIRED)
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Experience with ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
