Park Team Member

Overview

Team Members are the initial contact between guests and Kids Empire. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any questions or comments that guests may have while present at Kids Empire. Team Member workers perform many tasks with the families and peers throughout the park to ensure the guests are having an excellent and safe time while at Kids Empire.

• Attending customers as quick as possible, greeting them accordingly, and making them feel comfortable in the ambiance of the park.
• Operating the check-in process by having guests sign the liability waiver and collect guest information such as address, name, email address, and phone number using an IPad.
• Operating the front cash counter for receiving the exact bill amount from guests, managing cash flow by recording daily transactions, taking payments by cash or card (credit card / debit card), and providing exact change if the payment is made by cash.
• Processing billing transactions accurately by verifying the amount displayed on the POS.
• Organizing the refrigerator with drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
• Checking snack inventory is sufficient and coordinating with management to order snacks from specified vendors to replenish stock.
• Walking the floor regularly to monitor for unsafe hazards and ensure guests are following park rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Cleaning restrooms and sanitizing park structures such as tables, chairs, and playground equipment.
• Assisting and participating in family events and ensuring that events operate efficiently.
• Other duties assigned.

• Stand, walk, bend, and twist constantly.
• Frequent bilateral hand movements.
• Good finger dexterity.
• Must be able to work in noisy environments created by guests, such as children yelling and music.
• Must be able to tolerate a hectic and busy work environment during scheduled hours.
• Must be comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
