Teacher – Student Resource Center DESCRIPTIONThe Student Resource Center (SRC) is a Tier 2 support center for students who are struggling in core content. In addition to the duties of a classroom teacher, the SRC teacher will:
- build relationships, motivate, and directly support students who are struggling in core content areas
- coordinate programming, curriculum, and support for the Student Resource Center.
- be organized and have general knowledge of a variety of academic content.
- work with struggling learners and their families with the goal of connecting and providing structure and relevance.
- work closely with core content teachers and Student Services staff to support SRC students.
- ISBE Professional Educator License with high school endorsement(s) appropriate to the position
- Endorsement in Math preferred
