Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies at screening and entry points;
Screen individuals for authorized access by checking identification, confirming appointments and/or authorization, and directing traffic to appropriate locations;
Operate walk-through metal detectors, hand wands, and/or bag inspection procedures as required, and document screening activity per site guidelines;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and/or emergency response activities when appropriate;
Conduct regular and random patrols of nearby entry areas, corridors, and the perimeter as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location
